Ben, we took a Philippe's sandwich to my dad at his office on the corner of Arroyo Pkwy and Colorado... and as I turned down Arroyo and saw City Hall I thought Hmm, should I take a picture of this for Ben?But I realized there is a fine line between an homage and outright cruelty.
A thing of beauty.
In LA again?! Unreal! Looking forward to more of your So Cal eats.
Great to see vacation posts!
A couple of years ago you suggested that I stop by Philippe on a trip to LA. Some of the best advice I have ever gotten. The lamb dip was fantastic. Thanks for that.
Whenever I see this place on tv I remember the post when you took Elizabeth's parents there. Looks so good.
Okay living in nyc, i only know of this place because of man vs food bourbain etc.I just wanna know what the dip is made of? Beef only? Turkey and beef and chicken? Pork? Im very interested.
Jeez, that's a lot of mustard. I know you love it spicy, but I bet you your nosehairs have burned off.
jealous. always have wanted a double dip!
If you go to Yang Chow again while here, don't forget to try the Spicy Wonton Soup!
